Everyone I have introduced this to just loves it! It is a sweet and creamy delicious smoothie! My children ask me to make it as a treat quite often, in my workshops it is always well received. The medjool dates and himalyan salt are a match made in heaven as it gives it the wonderful taste of salted caramel. You will get your sweet hit from this delicious drink without the processed sugar.
- 4 medjool dates
- 1 cup of almond milk
- 1 level teaspoon of cacao
- 1 teaspoon of chocolate and vanilla protein powder
- 1 pinch of himalayan salt
- 5 ice cubes
- 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Blend it all together, and enjoy
